Since starting our own business Susan & I have introduced a few traditions. Reflecting upon the year that's been and looking to the year ahead is one of them. We take the time to review what's worked and what hasn't. We know it's important to learn from both however we thought we'd share with you a few of the things we are truly grateful for in 2018.
1. Our Clients Without them we wouldn't have a business. So we thank and are grateful for each and every one of them. We love the diversity of the industries we work with from retail, to communications to individuals who are committed to growing their networks and Brand YOU. We're most proud of the fact that the foundation of our client base comes from word of mouth and referrals.
2. Our Award In May 2018 we were announced as one of the 100 Faces of Small Business by Business Queensland. We got the opportunity to attend networking events, meet other small business owners and participate in business seminars and mentoring sessions to help improve our skills. It's a 12-month program and we're still taking advantage of it.
3. Our Ongoing Evolution Susan & I started our business because we know social media can help individuals and businesses achieve their goals. We're not saying it's the answer however we truly believe it needs to be part of everyone's mix. We also know most people want to get active - they just don't know where to start. Over the last twelve months we've refined our services so we can equip people with the tools to Social It Yourself. Our LinkedIn Engagement Strategy is a great example of empowering individuals to make the most of the ever-growing professional social network.
