A key part of social media is content. So what is content? It’s videos, photos, ebooks, infographics, quotes, testimonials, checklists – it’s diverse and creative ways for you to provide information to your customers.
A question we get asked all the time is where do we get our content from? The answer is – it is all around you. It’s company news, industry news, its your business successes and challenges, it facts, stats, stories and research about your product or service or your people and customers. We’ve put together a few tips to help you create engaging content:
3. Social Media Content Calendar - one of the most useful tools of your Social Media toolkit. Annabel and I couldn’t operate without it.
It will save you time
You might think maintaining a detailed calendar of all your social media content is going to cause more work. But honestly, it doesn’t.
If you have a plan for your future social content, you can write and even schedule your posts in advance. You won’t be trying to think about what you’re going to post or pulling your hair out at the last minute for content ideas.
So we're confident that if you follow these 3 simple steps, you'll have a great content plan ready to roll out for your business.
